1. Introduction
Astario Systems Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates TMJCrew. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
Phone number: Required for account creation and message delivery.
Messages: We store your text conversations with Ben to provide context-aware responses and track your wins and goals.
Goals and preferences:Information you share during onboarding (what you're building, your industry, your preferred check-in time).
Payment information: Processed and stored securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details directly.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver personalised check-in messages

- To generate AI-powered context summaries for better conversations
- To deliver weekly news drops based on your industry
- To process payments for paid subscriptions
- To improve the Service
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Twilio: For SMS and WhatsApp message delivery
- Anthropic (Claude): For AI-generated responses
- Perplexity: For web intelligence and news drops
- Stripe: For payment processing
- Supabase: For data storage and authentication
- Vercel: For website hosting
Each of these services has their own privacy policies. Your message content is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate responses.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Free tier users have a 7-day message history. Paid users have full message history. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
“Ben’s notes” on your dashboard are Ben’s editorialised observations about your habits. Choosing “delete Ben’s notes” hides them from your dashboard, but the underlying facts Ben has learned about you are retained so he can keep giving you context-aware support — the footer joke “he’ll remember anyway” is literally the policy. To erase those retained facts as well, request a full account deletion and we will remove everything.
5a. Crew Matching
Crew matching is optional and off unless you turn it on. When enabled, we share data between members in two stages:
- Before you consent (preview): only anonymised, PII-free information — a compatibility score and a short summary of goals and accountability traits. No name, no phone number, no contact details are shared or shown to the model that writes the preview.
- After you both consent (introduction):once both members approve a match, we share each member's first name and phone number with the other so you can talk directly. This is disclosed in the preview message before you decide.
You can withdraw consent at any time by turning crew matching off in settings or texting STOP, which cancels pending introductions and freezes active matching. We retain match records (including declined and expired matches) so the same pairing isn't proposed again; these are deleted when you delete your account.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure database access with Row Level Security, and secure API key management.
7. Your Rights
- Opt out: Text STOP at any time to stop receiving messages
- Data access: Request a copy of your data by contacting us
- Data deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Data portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
8. Children's Privacy
TMJCrew is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via SMS. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
